Dragon Age 2 second play through tips?

I was wondering if there were things most people missed in there first play through. For me i missed the high dragon and that isabella girl. Also im wondering if I should be a mage or rogue because i just beat it with a 2 handed warrior.

First, go with the Mage. The story line has a significant difference if you play as the mage.



One thing you missed is an alternative outcome with the qunari, because isabella is involved with it. Also, its worth it to see how the story ends when you align with the other side in the game.
