You can upgrade but I wouldn't sink too much money into an aging computer.

If I was going to upgrade it this is what I would get.

It comes out to $150 and will allow you to play today's games, on a lower resolution you could probably even get some new games at higher settings.Huge lag Dragon Age Origins Very high graphics settings. Can i upgrade graphics card?
Wow. Your computer is piece of utter crap for gaming. Your CPU is a godawful single core turd, your GPU is the worst integrated graphics on the market, 2GB of RAM is fairly subpar, and the power supply is guaranteed to be garbage as well. You'd need a CPU upgrade, a new power supply, and a decent video card to even have a chance. The problem is that you're stuck on an AM2 board that almost certainly cannot take AM3 CPUs and may not even take AM2+ CPUs.

At this point you should just save up for a newer computer. That one isn't worth upgrading.Huge lag Dragon Age Origins Very high graphics settings. Can i upgrade graphics card?
get a nvidia gtx 460m if ur computer is a desktop, just get a desktop if you have a laptop since it will probably take you months or even years to understand and beable to install a graphic card for laptop. The nvidia gtx 460m is a great graphic card it is about $140 canadian dollars at memory express, just google memory express, I swear it will play any modern game on at least 7/10 maxed out graphic settings
Wow, that graphics card is a piece of junk!

Yes, if you are using a desktop PC I would definitely recommend upgrading your graphics card. Work out what your budget is and get the best card you can for that price (:
