Is my computer good overall?

I would like to know if my computer is good enough to play at high graphics some upcoming RPGs. Like Dragon Age 2, Star Wars: The Old Republic, The Lord of the Rings: War in the North and the such.

The processor is decent. It's not spectacular but should run the games you mentioned fine. It's below the recommended requirement of Dragon Age II but my processor has a similar performance and I noticed no real problems in the demo.

Your graphics card is problematic. The Geforce 9500 GT is an entry level card. It's a renamed Geforce 8600 GT, which was decent when the Geforce 8-series was new, but up until the 9-series the second digit had to be 6 or higher is you wanted a gaming card. Anything lower is not recommended for gaming.

Since you have Windows XP you can't play Dragon Age II on anything higher than medium settings. 'High' and 'highest' are reserved for DirectX 10 and 11 cards respectively, and while your card fully supports DirectX 10 and some features of DirectX 11, you need Vista or higher for these version. With your graphics card, however, I think you should stick to low settings.|||A Core 2 Duo is not great anymore, but should be sufficient. I would double your RAM if possible. Not familiar with the video card, but if you want high resolution graphics, I'd get a video card and monitor that support HDMI, instead of just Plug and Play.|||Get Windows 7, and I love your video card! %26lt;3
