What should I upgrade to my gaming PC to play 2011 games at highest settings without lag?

These are my system specs:

ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series

Intel Core i5 CPU 750 2.67GHz

Intel Core i5 CPU 750 2.67GHz

Intel Core i5 CPU 750 2.67GHz

Intel Core i5 CPU 750 2.67GHz

6.00 GB RAM

Windows 7 64-bit

ATI High Definition Audio Device

Realtek High Definition Audio

I'm trying to upgrade some parts instead of buying a whole new PC system because I've only had this PC for about 2 years but it's already starting to lag on certain games like Black Ops and Dragon Age 2.|||Upgrade your video card. The ATI Radeon 6870 or Nvidia 560 GTX are good suggestions|||Your video card is well below par for the games you're talking about.

How about looking for an nvidia geforce GTX 560 Ti. That's a very nice card, very quick and good value.

You'll probably have to budget for a power supply replacement too regardless of which card you go for, most modern cards require 550W+ supplies.

I'd see how you get on with that before splashing out any more money on a processor upgrade.

It's worth reading www.tomshardware.co.uk, they regularly do "Best Graphics Cards for the Money" articles every few months. The 560 Ti is a current favourite, especially since you can buy quite a few pre-overclocked versions.

The Ati Radeon HD 6800 series should do wonders. Make sure you have a power supply that can support an upgrade.
