New computer for gaming?

alright so i have a laptop but im wondering about buying a desktop for some more high end gaming. The 2 games that i would like to play is WoW (dont think that takes to much runs perfectly on my low end laptop =p) but also the game prototype. i don't no much about graphics and how high they go and all that good stuff but lets say im getting like 4 fps (estimated) on low settings and low res right now. noww my computer is definitly not made for gaming.

now something i would like is like a alienwear but without payin for all the bells and whistles. i would like a good graphics card that can handle my games but i dont no much about that. i also dont no much for the prosseser for games, memory, all that good confusin stuff.

another game i may be buyin is dragon age origins so that would be another game to try and measure up to :)

so all help is for sure welcome and if it is possible would be nice to get like a link to a either custimized comp or one that would be good at its base price.

thx all|||You didn't say how much you were willing to spend, so I'm going to spec something out for you on Cyberpower(https://www.cyberpowerpc.com/) for less than $1500.

After using the code "mega" for a 5% discount, it comes out to $1199, shipping not included (shipping is $65).

This will max out all games easy.|||If the game runs smoothly on a console, you should get a decent framerate on medium settings with a 512 mb videocard.

preferably at *least* 2 GB of RAM. Those are the basics, but a good processor and such are also necessary. I would recommend something at or over 2.66 GHz, you'll see the number on the processor descriptions.|||If you want real high end gaming then this is the spec you would go with

Intel Core i7 920

Any Asus X58 motherboard

6GB+ of Name brand 1600Mhz+ Ram

ATI Radeon 5970

Corsair 850HX PSU

Cost you half the price of alienwares but just as powerful.|||Well I will recommend that you should go for a Dell or HP brands as they are really nice and fantastic in terms of prices and gives out value for money too.

In my opinion I will suggest that you have an option of going for a refurbished systems or laptops they are reliable too and durable too.

Plus you can easily upgrade them and you will get a good prices too
