Very good laptop but games lag?

Hi, I have a very good laptop, but games like Test Drive Unlimited 2, Call of Duty Black Ops, Dragon Age 2 run excellent with Medium details on but with the following specs they should run with very high details on.

Sony VAIO VPCF13M0E

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU Q740

RAM memory : 4GB

nVidia GeForce 425M - 1GB dedicated memory

Windows 7 Home Premium x64

Can anyone give me some help with this please? Thanks|||the problem is your graphics card. it's not a good card for gaming.

if you truely want to PC game then get a Desktop.

as you see when games are maxed out you get horrible framrate|||Laptops use slower mobile CPUs, and even slower mobile video chips.

If you could plug a $200 video card in a laptop, it would drain the battery in a few minutes, fry the power converter if less than 400w. Unfortunately, it should first melt the laptop due to lack of airflow space and small fans.|||im not saying im right but maybe the 1g memory might be lagging? or maybe you are running too many programs at once maybe that you are un aware of. Ive had some problems with my alienware until i found programs that i didnt need that were running and slowing my comp down. Hope this helps|||you could try giving your computer a spring clean, defragment your hard drive and clean up the junk files and invalid registry keys using ccleaner
